Green Leafy Plant with Snail

I don't excatly knew the name of this plant. I remember when I was young we had this plant. Nope, this is not our plant. I just took this photo last May just this year during a family day in my work at Mambukal Nature Resort. It was a fun day for my sister Kiana and my baby Iris. It was their first time at that Resort..and oh..I love snail!..I think same as turtle they are shy kind of animals.

This week my Orange share is my word search book and a dermatograph orange pencil. Orange Tuesdays 26th Edition

Welcome to Orange Tuesdays 26th Edition!

Sorry for late posting of Orange Tuesdays. Yesterday was a bad hair day for me and was not in the mood to make a post for OT.

Anyway, my OT share for this week is a slice squash. Squash is one of my fave vegetable. According to my research squash has two categories which is summer squash and winter squash. Obviously, since I'm living in a tropical country I only see summer squash. This vegetable is nutrient rich veggie and we can get a lot of benefit from squash like carotene. Carotene is beneficial in preventing cancer and lung disease. Carotene from squash can likewise prevent heart disease, high blood pressue and diabetes type 2.

With that info I'm gonna love this veggie more!..hope you too!

Pacquiao VS Marquez 3

Another reason for Pinoy to be proud of! Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao prove once again that he is the king of pound-for-pound World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title. He wins via majority decision with judges score 114-114, while two others judge had it 115-113 and 116-112 for Pacquiao.

With the controversy of Pacman's winning and unacceptable defeat from Marquez camp part 4 is much welcome by this 2 great fighter's fan.

..as per Manny Pacquiao "I can fight any fighter, as long as there's no problem with my promoter".

Today our Muslim brothers and sisters is celebrating "Festival of Sacrifice" and thus our President Aquino declared this day a regular non working holiday.

Motherhood I Like!

If there's one career that I will forever keep in my life that is motherhood. For all mum's out there I am sure we have same predicament when it comes to motherhood-it give us joy and happiness that no amount of money not even people can do to us..hmmm...at least for me and generally speaking I think. I remember in one of the TV show I watch before (can't remember of the title of the show-talk show) one of the guest said "A woman is not a woman until she became a mother". I think it's true. It also completes us a a person and a woman. Before I became a mother I always feel empty and always parang may kulang sa buhay ko. Maybe because I never grow up and never met my real father. Also I grew up in a family that showing affection or that of being sweet and loving is "korni"...come Christmas and New Years day-it always bring tears to me. I feel so empty and alone. I don't know. But when I became a mum and have Iris in my life-Life is not the same as before..

...Iris completes me. She fills the emptiness I felt before. Thanks to motherhood!

First, sorry for delayed posting of Orange Tuesdays. Yesterday was a busy day for me very early in the morning we go to wet market to buy veggies and other stuff. I also help my mom cook some dishes (All Saints Day celebration) and I was also assign to look for our small Sari-sari store.

Back to Orange Tuesdays, Am a proud mother today because my Orange share is my rainbow(daughter) Iris Joehanna. I suppose to feature this photo in my daughter's blog Iris Joehanna's World but decided to post it here so you'll see my pretty baby. This photo was taken a day after Iris first birthday. Orange balloon was one of the balloon during Iris birthday...and another photo below with Mama Shengkay.
