Nail Art

My first time to join Chic in Black in Monday hosted by My Tots Exactly. Well, i don't promise to join every Monday but I saw some black that is worth sharing I'll join.

My first entry is my first ever nail art. This was done by my far relative when we visit our Lola last holy week. This is one of her source of income. Actually her husband is also very good in painting. But I never thought she has talent in nail art. Just name whatever design you want and she'll do it. She use latex for a design but the base is really a nail polish.

Pink Heart with a Padlock

This is my heart and I intend to lock it so that nobody can hurt me-charing! Hahaha.

Can you guess what's this? a candy? nope! cake? nope!

It's an eraser! yup! yup! cool? I do collect erasers of different color, design and most of them is unique. Not the typical eraser you see. I start collecting eraser way back 2008. I had I guess 30 plus of eraser. I already stop buying. This two is one of my favorate.

Friendster is Closing Down!

Have you heard in the news about Friendster closing down on May 31, 2011? Yup. I saw it in the evening news last week. The management of Friendster admitted that facebook is taking social networking by storm + twitter world. It's a facebook world today. Actually Friendster is not closing down on May 31, 2011. According to the news they will be upgrading into a more entertainment site but not social networking.

According to Friendster:

We are introducing a new and improved Friendster site in the coming weeks. As part of this change, we will remove a number of social networking functions in Friendster. This includes your existing account profile, photos, messages, blogs, and shoutouts. However, your list of friends will be preserved, along with your basic profile information.

We understand that your photos, blogs and other private data may be important to you. An application is available in the "Apps" section of the site, until May 31st 2011, to help you download or export them securely to third party sites, such as Flickr or Multiply. The application is available here.

If you do not wish to keep any of these information, you do not need to do anything. Your Friendster account will not be deleted. Your Friendster Wallet, along with the coins and chips in it, will remain unchanged in the new site as long as you use your existing login details.

Anyways, I am joining Self Saga City Two Question Thursday. I know I'm late but better late than never right? :P

My question is very simple..

1. Do you have an account from Friendster?
2. Do you think thier upgrade will help them gain thier popularity again?

To answer my Question..

1. Yes, I had account and even had blogs. I really need to export my files there especially my photos.
2. I don't think so. Facebook apps on games is also a fever. Really hard to beat them.

Red Pencil Box

 This is Kiana's pencil box when she was in her third grade. Hope she will use this one still in her fourth grade. But I doubt it. I am sure she will bug me to buy her a new one.

Greeny Alma Mater

This photo was taken last December 2010 during our High School Alumni Homecoming. This is part actually of our School. See the lasy in red waving? that is my HS classmate (LOL) yeah I know its too small to be recognize.

This one with green chairs and of course greeny background with green word Glee on thier shirt. They are the glee club in my School. New generation student. During my time we have no Glee club. They are headed by my favorate teacher in High School Mrs. Meriam Guilaran.

Holy Week Vacation

Last Holy week me, my daughter Iris and my 2 sister and our other cousins visited our grandparents in Sipalay. That was the first time for my daughter and little sister to visit our grandparents actually. Kiana was very excited for that trip. Well, not just her but all of us. It will also be the first long trip for my seven months old baby. Everybody is so happy and gaily while we we're travelling. We use my cousins newly bought second hand Toyota Corolla van in traversing our grandparents place.

Unfortunately, when we are travelling already our car encounter engine malfunction. I am not an expert actually when it comes to car so I just leave it my other cousin. All I understand is that, the car needs repair and that me and my 7months baby has to take  a bus because its late in the evening already and we're not sure what time will it take before the car will be fix. Anyways, it will only take an hour for me and my baby to reach my grandmother place thru a public bus. My sisters and other cousin choose to wait for the car to be fix.

Some of the activities we do during our vacation is we go to the beach, it was fun because some of my High School friends is also present. It was sort of reunion as well as get together to some of my relative. One of my friend mention to me about this car repair service. I told her about what happen to us while on our way to Sipalay. She said she once had some car repair in that store and she is satisfied about the service. I actually check it. What I like about them is their repair price estimator. With the economy we had right now I think its just right that we need to know first how much money we gonna need before we commit to any transaction.

In general our vacation is so much fun. My baby enjoy the beach as well as my little sister. It feels good also to in touch again with my old pals. I'll just share some of our photo in my next post.
