Orange Tuesdays 28th Edition

Welcome to Orange Tuesdays 28th Edition!

I know some of you wonder why for the past 3 weeks Orange Tuesdays was off from world wide web. Here's the story. Last November 28 (that was Monday) I was doing my blog hopping to all OT participant and other meme that I joined and when I return to my home blog I was told that my account was disable. I can't even access my gmail. As in oh my google! what happen? why disable my gmail and blogger account?..I feel like crying and helpless. I value my blogs as much as I value all of you especially my main blog Shengkay's Journal which is my sanctuary online. I immediately contact google team. The next day was able access my emails but not my 4blogs. I was really sad, I thought I'll never retrieve my blogs. After a series of email to google and help from bloggers forum community, finally last December 7 blogger restore my blog..I should have made a post last Tuesday (Dec. 13) but not able to do so because I was out for a week for a vacation..and now OT is back! Welcome once again and thank you for your continued support.

Okay...5days more to go it's Christmas all over the world! let me greet all of you a Very Merry Christmas! mwah! and my orange share for this week is this digiscrap greeting with yours truly and my pretty cute daughter Iris.

Green Leafy Plant with Snail

I don't excatly knew the name of this plant. I remember when I was young we had this plant. Nope, this is not our plant. I just took this photo last May just this year during a family day in my work at Mambukal Nature Resort. It was a fun day for my sister Kiana and my baby Iris. It was their first time at that Resort..and oh..I love snail!..I think same as turtle they are shy kind of animals.

Orange Tuesdays 26th Edition

Sorry for late posting of Orange Tuesdays. Yesterday was a bad hair day for me and was not in the mood to make a post for OT.

Anyway, my OT share for this week is a slice squash. Squash is one of my fave vegetable. According to my research squash has two categories which is summer squash and winter squash. Obviously, since I'm living in a tropical country I only see summer squash. This vegetable is nutrient rich veggie and we can get a lot of benefit from squash like carotene. Carotene is beneficial in preventing cancer and lung disease. Carotene from squash can likewise prevent heart disease, high blood pressue and diabetes type 2.

With that info I'm gonna love this veggie more!..hope you too!

Pacquiao VS Marquez 3

Another reason for Pinoy to be proud of! Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao prove once again that he is the king of pound-for-pound World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title. He wins via majority decision with judges score 114-114, while two others judge had it 115-113 and 116-112 for Pacquiao.

With the controversy of Pacman's winning and unacceptable defeat from Marquez camp part 4 is much welcome by this 2 great fighter's fan.

..as per Manny Pacquiao "I can fight any fighter, as long as there's no problem with my promoter".

Motherhood I Like!

If there's one career that I will forever keep in my life that is motherhood. For all mum's out there I am sure we have same predicament when it comes to motherhood-it give us joy and happiness that no amount of money not even people can do to us..hmmm...at least for me and generally speaking I think. I remember in one of the TV show I watch before (can't remember of the title of the show-talk show) one of the guest said "A woman is not a woman until she became a mother". I think it's true. It also completes us a a person and a woman. Before I became a mother I always feel empty and always parang may kulang sa buhay ko. Maybe because I never grow up and never met my real father. Also I grew up in a family that showing affection or that of being sweet and loving is "korni"...come Christmas and New Years day-it always bring tears to me. I feel so empty and alone. I don't know. But when I became a mum and have Iris in my life-Life is not the same as before..

...Iris completes me. She fills the emptiness I felt before. Thanks to motherhood!

Online Shopping

One of the things that I want to try when I start earning online is online shopping. I was really curious how it works. I don't know if purchasing a domain is an online shopping, if it is, then my first online shopping/purchase is my domain http://www.shengkayful.com/ and http://www.postcardlover.com/.. I was really curious of the process of paying online before at the same time so eager to have my own domain so when I had enough fund to purchase a domain I grab it. I also plan of purchasing a book online but hesitant for some reason. I'm a google fan! when I do my research online I only trust google. So everytime I open my google I am curious about their google doodle because I learn from it.

Todays google doodle is tribute to 100th birthday of Mary Blair. She is known for working animation for Walt Disney company. Her notable work includes Peter Pan, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and many other. Blair was honored as Disney Legend year 1991.

Last Saturday me and my lovelies dated my College friends. We had fun at Carnaval and photos above are one of the rides we tried. I called it octopus ride but they call it actually Scrumble ride..indeed feeling scrumbled after! . It was fun at the same time nervous for Iris because she cried when rides start off but later she stop crying when I embrace her, I guess she feel secured when I hug her. Of course Scrumble ride is also perfect for my Orange Tuesdays entry.

Aside from my baby Iris it's my sister Kiana Kim that makes me happy, inspired and strong in life. Kiana was with me since she was 2years old. She's my baby before Iris. Now that I have Iris she's like a big sister to her. She love Iris as much as I love my baby. She's sweet and loving Aunt to Iris and I am happy seeing them play, doing silly and funny things or just goofing around. Sometimes Iris get mad to her because she always make fun of the little one like scaring her of cockroach. Iris hate and scared of cockroaches!

I Love Postcard

Rugby VS Soccer

Honestly, I am not really very fond of sports especially ball games but I do watch it on Television once in a while. What I like watching is Tennis especially seeing Maria Sharapova before playing with all her heart and might. I do love billiard too!

Aside from those mention sports above I think two of the most popular sports in the world (aside from basketball of course) is the Soccer and Rugby and since they are popular I wanted to have souvenir items from that sport. I will just check if there is promotional coupons or a vouchers coupons so I could save when I decide to purchase.

Anyway, I was wondering what’s the difference between Soccer and Rugby. This is what I observe.

Soccer VS Rugby.

As I’ve seen it on TV both sports uses ball but rugby ball is prolate spheroid shaped while soccer ball is round. In Rugby points are earned by kicking the ball over the bar while in soccer earned points when placing the ball inside the net. When it comes to skills I observe that in soccer each players has special skills while rugby players has same skills in playing..

Mother and Daughter

Hello! We're on the second week of October! How was so far your October? Me? just fine. Masskara is in the air here in Bacolod and I plan to visit Masskara village at Robinson with my rainbow Iris. Im sure she'll be amaze of the Masskara display there. Photo opp of course and I'll share it here for sure!

My Orange share for this week is one of the food we prepare during my baby Iris Birthday last Sept. 24, 2011. My baby turns 1 year old. Of course, I wanna thank GOD for giving me my baby to my life, for the gift of motherhood that I am enjoying right now. I know not everyone has given the chance to become a mother, and I am one lucky woman to be called mother, a chance to raise a child. I could say, of all the things I have experience it is of being a mother that I really enjoyed the most. I am not saying I am a perfect mother but I know I am a good mother. Especially raising my baby alone. I am proud to be called single mom.

It is when I become a mother, a single mom where I appreciate every aspect of my life. This is where I realize GOD loves me so much and that GOD is trully an amazing GOD. I know some of you knows that I am a single mom and that my baby's father abandon her, he did not aknowledge Iris to be his child (oh well, he has his own reason why he do that- selfish reason I may say, and now to be honest, I am not that affected anymore-I am happy now..trully happy!) I had no plan to celebrate my baby's 1st birthday because of financial constraint and I have to priotize things especially monetary aspect. Iris needs to undergo 2D echo (Iris has heart problem) after she turns 1year old and my money was intended for that. My friend, Iris godmother insist to celebrate it coz its her 1st birthday. She contact our closest college friends and Iris godparents they plan how they can help to celebrate Iris bday. I was touch, very touch with their gesture. Some give us money, others sponsor cakes and balloons and other stuff. In short Iris birthday was push thru because of my friends. That's where I realize  GOD loves me and my baby. GOD uses my friends to show me and my baby that HE loves us. Iris may not have a love of the father she deserve but we have the FATHER above that love us. This my ever favorite bag when I am travelling 2-3days. It carries all my needed stuff and still find it "kikay" because of it's flowery print on it. I have this bag for almost 4years already and I won't trade this to any bag my mother offers me. I only want this bag when I travel. Period! :P anyway I took a photo of this bag obviously last Sept. 8, 2011 (as stated in my digicam date) when I was waiting for my flight going home. This is a perfect entry for my Orange Tuesdays. Hello everyone! welcome! Honestly I don't know what to write here. I'm not that active anymore in blogging and  it makes me feel sad. I love blogging. I'm just lazy to organize my time. Also, I am busy with my direct selling "raket" and when I arrive home it's late in the evening already.

Anyway, I'm inspired again to update my blog because aside from my ranking that is going bet low in Alexa I receive an Inpirational Blog Award from Mommy Kat and Mommy Pinx. Thank you very much mommies, you made my birthday month a happy one!

Last July, I join Mommy Jes contest/giveaway celebrating her 30th birthday. Likewise, my fellow PMC (Pinay Mommies Community) members host simple Pasko sa Agosto as their way of thanking their avid readers and followers and I join out of 60+ contest I think 11 contest. Guess what! I win nothing in those contest. Hahaha. How unlucky I am! Actually, I accept that fact long before that I don't have luck in joining any contest/giveaway. I am just hopeful again after I win a hosting from Techie She that I still have luck in contest. I would like to thank also Mommy Jes because she gives her early bird participant this notepad (see photo above) in her birthday contest. She gives away 30 memo pad to her 1st 30 participant. Yehey! I'm one of them. Hahaha. Receive the notepad last Monday and I uber love it! super cute! because of its over cuteness, I'm hesitant of using this pad. LOL.

Green Monday and Pic Story

It's been a while not joining any color meme and now I am here again. And I am happy to be here again. I hope I can join all the color meme for this week..Aside from my hosted color meme Orange Tuesdays, my favorite meme to join before is this 3 color Green, Blue, and Yellow. Which for me Green for nature, Blue for Sky and Yellow for Sun...and my entry is this..

I took this photo during my trip last week to Cagayan de Oro for a 3day seminar. A very very very good seminar! It took me 25-30 minutes before I reach my destination. Thanks GOD! I arrive home safe.
